News relayed from Ifrin district in Aleppo province said that the Kurdish citizen Mahmud Iso was recently arrested upon his return from Germany where he has been living for the last fifteen years. He was transferred to an interrogation branch in Damascus.

The Syrian Human Rights Committee denounces this despotic unjustified arrest and requests the immediate release of the said citizen in order to rejoin his family. SHRC also requests the release of all political detainees and prisoners of conscience and the termination of all despotic and arbitrary arrest in Syria.
