Private Properties Attacked in Aleppo
shrc

The Syrian Human Rights Committee (SHRC) condemned the actions of destruction and deformation perpetrated against properties belonging to opponents who are members of the Damascus Declaration, with the aim of intimidating and horrifying them. SHRC’s media speaker declared that “destroying the stocks in the painting house of Talal Abu-Dan, smashing the cars of Sameer Nashaar, Ibrahim Malaky and the van of Mohammed Haj Darwish are outlawed actions carried out by agents of the Syrian intelligence who should be arrested and punished”.
The speaker questioned whether the mission of the Syrian intelligence service (which is paid by the national income and tax payers) is to commit attacks and aggressions against citizens and their properties?! He also demanded that all security forces, police, intelligence and order keeping forces should be committed to the law and keeping citizens and their properties safe. They should completely stop practising open and covered roles in terrifying citizens and turning their properties in wreckage to punish them and carrying reprisal assaults against their properties”.
Concluding his comment, he demanded the official authorities to bring the culprits of these outlawed actions, whether commanders or executers to just trials, to fire them from the intelligence service, and to offer apology to the concerned victims and duly compensate them.
