On the Fourth Anniversary of the Qamishli Massacre
SHRC

The Syrian Human Rights Committee (SHRC) spokesman has commented that, "Four years have passed since the Qamishli Massacre, in which scores of victims were killed, and scores detained by order from the Syrian Intelligence and Security Apparatuses. However, the Syrian Authorities have not responded to the calls for justice. Neither have they set up an independent committee to investigate the truths of the event and identify who was responsible for this massacre, (which saw the killing of souls and detainment of a large number of civilians), holding them account, and putting an end to such acts that exceed the law".

SHRC, as well as other human rights organisations and many Syrian groups, have called for an impartial investigation into the massacre. However, the Syrian Authorities, who are responsible for such a terrifying massacre, haven't responded to this call, and their oppression continues to reach and is felt in every corner of Syria.
In the fourth anniversary of the Qamishli Massacre, SHRC condemns the murder, killing and detainment of innocent citizens perpetrated by the Intelligence and Security Apparatuses, and calls for an end to such horrendous violations of human rights.
