Victims of 5/12/2012
Over 40 people have been killed in Syria so far today (up to 2pm), including women and children, with massacres taking place across rural Damascus, Aleppo and Idlib.
In Idlib, North Syria, intense air bombardment in Talmans by the Syrian regime forces wiped out a whole family, killing five of its members and injuring five more. Further areas in Idlib were shelled, including Jisr al-Shaghoor. The use of cluster bombs by the regime forces killed seven and wounded tens of civilians. Most of those killed were young children. In Aleppo, Bustan al-Qasr neighbourhood was heavily shelled. The number of those documented dead so far amount to seven civilians, with several wounded, and bodies still being pulled out of the rubble.
Rural Damascus saw the shelling and bombardment of numerous towns and neighbourhoods, including Moadamiyat al-Shaam, Qaboon, Qatna and others.
