Fifteen Killed in Massacre in Al-Jubeila in Deir Ezzor

Field activists in Deir Ezzor have confirmed that a horrific massacre took place in Deir Ezzor in which the bodies of 15 civilians whose identities remain unknown were found in a market in the city.

In the details provided by activists, the bodies were found in the al-Jubeila district maket in Deir Ezzor, among them three children and a woman.

According to activists, it is thought that the forces of the Syrian regime summarily executed them over a week ago. Until the moment, the residents of the area have not been able to identify them with the exception of the woman, whose name was revealed to be Lam’at al-Hawkan.

The Syrian Human Rights Committee (SHRC) calls upon the international community to move immediately to stop these massacres against civilians taking place and to form a committee to investigate and reveal who is behind these massacres.
