Massacre in Harasta

The Syrian regime forces have committed a horrific massacre in the city of Harasta in Rural Damascus today (17/11/2012), killing at least 9 civilians amongst them four children and four women as a result of bombardment targeting the West Highway in Harasta. In total, this raises the number of those killed in Damascus and its suburbs up to this moment to 34 civilians.

Samira Mustafa Afoof (35 years)
Tahani Ali Mahna (27 years)
Manal Mustafa Afoof
Child- Abdul Salaam Mahmoud Qar’oosh
Child- Yusuf Mahmoud Qar’oosh
Newborn Child- Mu’ayad Ayman al-Wawi
Child- Zaid Hani al-Jaza’irly

The Syrian Human Rights Committee expresses its condolences to the families of the victims, and calls upon the international community to stand strong and firm to stop the flowing of Syrian blood and take the criminals to justice.
