Massacres and Executions in Aleppo, Daraa and Hama
Twenty bodies killed by the Syrian regime forces and Shabiha gangs were found today (12/9/12) in the A’thamiyah neighbourhood in Aleppo. In addition, the regime forces summarily executed twenty civilians in the city of Daraa, and killed 13 civilians in the village of Halfaya in rural Hama. The number of victims in Syria today, as a result of the violence of the Syrian regime forces, exceeded 110 civilians across the country.
The Syrian Humans Rights Committee (SHRC) looks at the ineffective action of the international community and the United Nations, and its inability to protect civilians and stop the bloodshed and violence of Bashar al-Asad’s regime; finding no alternative except to take immediate and decisive steps to protecting civilians and putting an end to the focussed violence of the Syrian regime. SHRC condemns the attempts of some international sides in lengthening the suffering of the Syrians in order to destroy the country and leave it weak and crippled, relying on support from others.
