Summary Executions in Kafrsusa, Damascus

Twelve civilians have been summarily executed today in Kafrsusa (Damascus), by the security forces and shabiha, as part of an attack they have carried out on the neighbourhood.

Names of victims that have reached us so far include:

Ahmed Saleem- Ayman Taqwa- Salah Taqwa- Jamal Taqwa- Mohammed Salah Taqwa- Samir Ajooz-Riyadh Hajl- Ali Hajl- Mohammed Hajl- Mohammed Dirgham- Abdulnasser Jaza’iri- Ayman Ghadara.

These actions are classified as war crimes, genocide, and crimes against humanity, and the Syrian Human Rights Committee (SHRC) looks at the international community with an eye of caution with regards to its inaction in putting an end to these crimes which are being committed around the hour and in front of the world, as it they are content with the perpetrations of Bashar al-Asad and his regime. The international community and United Nations are obliged to take immediate measurements to stop these crimes and bring their perpetrators to court.
