Massacre in Kafr Tkharim

As a result of intense air bombardment by the Syrian regime war planes on the village of Kafr Tkharim in rural Idlib on 3/11/2012, over thirteen civilians were killed, and a large number injured, many among them in a critical condition. The names known until now from among the victims include: Sara Qais Kiyali (22 years), Lubna Qais Kiyali (30 years), Imad Habboush Joudi Hassan Hamza (3 years), Mufeed Hassouna (58 years), Ghiyath Hassouna (25 years), Duaa Ghiyath Hassouna (2 years), Hana’ Ghiyath Hassouna (4 years), Hana’ Mohamed Hassouna (4 years).

At the Syrian Human Rights Committee (SHRC), as we document these repeated crimes against humanity we call upon the international community once again to immediately act upon the international conventions and treaties to stop Syrian blood being shed due to lack of international will.
