SHRC
The SHRC media spokesman has commented on the news of the arrest of the young lady Tal Dawser al-Mallouhi (Homs, 1991), which was revealed by the Arab Organisation for Human Rights in Syria. The spokesman said that this young lady deserved a badge of honour as opposed to imprisonment. “We have read some of this secondary student’s work, including her poetry and writing which is replete with love for her country, Palestine, and the defence for both that outmatch of what has been said by elders and academics. So how is it that she is punished, treated harshly, and cast into prison with other criminal prisoners? Without doubt, this will be a great shock for her!” The SHRC spokesman concluded his speech by asking for the immediate release of this young bright lady, so that she is given the opportunity to sit her exams and release her potential for the good of her country and nation.
