Another Massacre in Douma on Thursday 1/11/12

The Syrian regime forces have committed a new massacre in the Shayfuniya Farms area in Douma (Rural Damascus), after shelling the area with war planes. The shelling wiped out two families, in their entirety, the majority of their members’ women and children. In addition, tens were injured and large scale destruction occurred. Fires also spread as a result of the air bombardment.

The number of victims killed in Douma today, whose names have been recorded, have reached sixteen.

9- Ali Ma’ika
10- Abdul Hadi Mohammed Ma’ika
11- Saeed Basim Rashid
12- Nu’man Basheer al-Sa’oor
13- Ratib Bin Omar al-Wazeer (19 years)
14- Mohammed Subhi Nasir

The Syrian Human Rights Committee (SHRC) calls for an end to the killing of citizens and the use of helicopters and war planes to bombard civilian and agricultural areas.  SHRC also calls upon the international community to put an end to these massacres committed by the Syrian regime against civilians indiscriminately.
