Egyptian Security Releases Husam Radwan al-Marei
SHRC

The Syrian citizen Husam Radwan al-Marei has returned to his family in Yemen, following his detainment by the Egyptian State Security in Cairo Airport for a period of 38 days, during which he was subjected to the worst types of torture and ill treatment, including being stripped naked, threatened with rape, electrocuted, beaten, kicked and insulted in a manner contrary to ethics and decency.
The Syrian Human Rights Committee (SHRC) congratulates Husam Marei on his safety and his return to his family, whilst strongly condemning the Egyptian Security in subjecting innocents to detention and the worst types of torture with no justification whatsoever.
