Twins Killed in Iraq
SHRC

Sources from the Syrian Committee for Democratic Action have reported that the twins Zaid and Zaidoun (17 years), sons of the political refugee in Iraq Ahmed Mohammad Deeb Turkawi (Homs) were killed by an armed gang in Iraq, adding to the tens of Syrian victims who have been killed in Iraq since 2003, whilst the rest of the world remains silent and no international organisations have been moved to stop such carnage.

The Syrian Human Rights Committee (SHRC) offers its sincere condolences to the family of the two youths, and calls upon the UN high commission for refugees to provide security to the Syrian citizens residing in Iraq, as well as those of other Arab nationalities or to relocate them in a safer havens, whilst at the same time, condemning the refusal of the Syrian Authorities to allow their citizens a safe return to their country without the threat of being arrested, unfairly prosecuted and detained.
